"Scientific research from the University of Groningen (RUG) has proven that the quality of lactation rooms plays a crucial role after returning to work."
High-quality lactation spaces are positively linked to satisfaction, convenience, and support for pumping at work. Experimental research showed that mothers in high-quality rooms experience less stress, more control, and greater well-being compared to those in low-quality spaces.

This is just the beginning.
We're building a movement to make feeding and pumping spaces the standard everywhere. Your voice matters. Your support scales this.
After my maternity leave, I returned to work and needed to pump. The lactation room was a back room. I thought: Is this really how it works everywhere?
Outside of work, it didn't get easier. I pumped in the car, constantly had to think:Where can I go? How long do I have? Will it work?
Later, while travelling with our youngest, I looked for a quiet place to feed at a major airport. There was none.
That's when I realized: this isn't a personal problem. It's a systemic one. And it needs a systemic solution.

"For Nestpod to become the standard in public spaces and workplaces in Europe, so that no mother ever has to pump in a toilet again."
— Founder, Nestpod
This is our movement. This is our mission.
Expand Nestpod to more cities and public spaces—airports, train stations, shopping centers, workplaces. Making it easier for every mother to find dignity when she needs it.
Understand what mothers really need. Refine the design. Test new features. Build the gold standard for feeding and pumping spaces.
Work with cities, employers, and venues to make feeding and pumping spaces as normal as any other public facility. Change policy. Change culture.
A space that's yours, without making you feel hidden or ashamed.
A space that's simply there, ready when you need it most.
Designed with care, for every mother who deserves better.
Every voice shared, every email added, every story told sends a powerful message: mothers deserve better.
Your support helps us show employers, venues, and policymakers that this isn't just a nice-to-have—it's essential. The more mothers who stand with us, the harder we become to ignore.
Your voice becomes data that convinces decision-makers to act
More support = more locations, sooner. Your city could be next.
A movement of thousands can change laws and workplace standards
You're not just helping yourself—you're changing it for every mother after you
This only works if we do it together. Will you add your voice?
This is about more than a product. It's about changing what's normal. What's expected. What mothers deserve.
Tell us your story. Help us make the case for why this should be standard everywhere.
Tell your network. Tag a friend. Help us reach every mother who deserves this.
We're launching a crowdfunding campaign to scale Nestpod across Europe.

As a mother of two, I've experienced firsthand the challenges of finding dignified spaces to feed and pump. What started as a personal frustration became a mission to change the standard for all mothers across Europe.
Nestpod isn't just a product—it's a movement. Every mother deserves privacy, comfort, and dignity. Together, we're making that the norm, not the exception.
"Let's make this the standard, together."
— Naomi Griekspoor & Birgitta de Gruijter, Founders of Nestpod
